Under Minerva is an art gallery and event space. The Artists' Den, beneath the
gallery, is a 24 hour art studio space that provides it's members with daily work and show space. Gallery Hours are Thurs-Sun: 4-8PM.

Dear Friend,
We are proud to open the solo show “The Matvey Basov Experience”. This very seasoned and well known artist is gracing our galleries with pieces of history from his collection. The art works depict a time of heartache from the holocaust, to the well grounded belief of their religion, and then take us to the newfound hope of family and the rebirth of a race almost made extinct. Matvey’s technique shows a dimensional view through the impasto technique which he has mastered through years of experience, and which he teaches to children in Belarus, free of charge. It is inspirational to view the tranquility and illuminating hope that radiates through his art and is no wonder that Dodge and Rothschild, are amongst many collectors of his work. We have the privilege to be part of history in the making by offering a few of his collections to the public at attainable values.
We invite you to the opening this upcoming Thursday August 19th, 2010 from 5-9pm. Complimentary champagne will be served, thanks to our friends at Korzo, and a networking event will be in full swing, so bring your business cards and be prepared to mingle. This show will run from August 18th Thru September 5th 2010. Operating hours for this show will be Fri-Sat 4-8pm and Sun 2-4pm.
