Under Minerva is an art gallery and event space. The Artists' Den, beneath the
gallery, is a 24 hour art studio space that provides it's members with daily work and show space. Gallery Hours are Thurs-Sun: 4-8PM.

AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL !
GROUP EXHIBITION
We
invite local New York Artists in all mediums to showcase a piece of our history
and the heart of America. This
exhibition is a dedication to the celebration of our founding fathers, our
spirit of freedom and our continuous travel to this great nation that many
immigrants choose to call their own. We are seeking all artwork that depicts
our founding
fathers, our war heroes,Presidents, patriotic RED WHITE & BLUE Pieces, the
map of our nation, and our migrating families that constitute this melting pot
we call AMERICA in our month of freedom !
We
are looking to mainly showcase local artists and are doing a non fee
submission, where Artists will receive 50% of the sales proceeds.
All
artwork must be framed (if applicable) and ready for hanging/display.
Video and multi-media artists will be required to provide their own
equipment. All artwork must be for sale.
The
exhibit will run Monday July 5th thru Saturday July 31st, 2010. Gallery Hours
for these dates will be Friday thru Sunday 4-8 Pm. All other times is by
Appointment only.
The
opening reception will be held on Monday July 5th, from 8–11pm.
1. Up to 5
artworks presented in digital images on CD or DVD, in jpg format
clearly-identified with a descriptive list for the visual material. Must Submit
a 2 X 4 white cards listing title, Artist name, Year Produced, dimensions,
medium, and Price Taped to the back of the Art work.
(Video artists should make work QuickTime compatible)
